Cookies
Short version: this site is unusually uninterested in tracking you. Here's the full list — it isn't long.
Necessary cookies
One (1) cookie: kaftsmall-consent — it remembers what you answered in the cookie box so we don't have to ask every time. It lives in your browser for at most 180 days and contains nothing but your choice. That's it.
Statistics (if you said yes)
If you say yes we use two tools. Google Analytics (GA4) shows which pages get visited and where people come from. We run Google's Consent Mode v2: the tag starts in denied mode with no cookies and no tracking, and measurement only begins once you say yes. IP anonymization is on. Microsoft Clarity shows how the pages are actually used — where people click, how far they scroll and where things snag. Clarity doesn't load at all until you've said yes, and Clarity masks form fields and sensitive data in its recordings. If you said no, no statistics cookies are set, period.
Marketing (if you said yes)
Say yes and the Meta pixel — Facebook and Instagram — loads too. It sets the _fbp cookie and lets us see which ads actually lead somewhere. Every event — page view, service page visited, booking calendar opened, phone number clicked — is also sent as a copy straight from our server to Meta, with your IP address and browser information. If you get in touch via the contact form or the chat, your name and email come along too, hashed with SHA-256 so Meta never gets them in plain text. Say no and the pixel doesn't load at all and nothing is sent to Meta.
The contact form
If you send a message via the contact page, your details (name, email, message) are used solely to reply to you. They're not sold, not shared, and won't end up in a newsletter you never asked for. Questions? Email sebastian@kaftsmallonline.se.
